No Internet Need My Fix

I was just without internet for almost a full 24 hours. I get rather ticked when it's out for just a few hours...but almost an entire day?! I didn't know what to do with myself. I know there are people out there who live without the internet but I can't even imagine it now. I think I was going through withdrawal. I was irritable, nervous, and an overall wreck. I checked to see if it was back on at least a hundred times. I called the cable company to hear if that wretched recording was still up that said that they were "aware of the problem" probably 30 times. I'm not sure they were aware of ALL the implications their little problem caused. I'm a total internet junkie. I wonder if there's a 12 step program for that?

I'm the same way!

I'm so addicted I think the world would surely stop if I didn't have it...at least mine would and I would definitely need at least a 12 step program!

I am an addmitted internet junkie too. We were on a getaway for 3 days and I thought I would have a fit UNTIL... I spyed a computer in the lobby of our hotel and got on it ASAP ! It calmed me right down...no wonder I can't get anything done around here sometimes !

I'm with you! I don't know what I would do without it! My hubby always reminds me what I used to say when we first got the internet...that nothing would change just because we got the internet...
boy, am I ever eating those words!!!! LOLOL

They do it by asking to use their neighbors computers. :( Then said neighbor (me) has to think of a reason to be too busy because even though I'd like to be nice and let them borrow my computer, it's just not going to happen. Even though I don't have much of interest on my computer, it's my own little PRIVATE bit of "not much of interest."

Our internet went out for 5 days. The first day a technician was supposed to come out between 8am-12 noon. He didn't show, so we called and called, and they kept pushing the time back and back. Day 2, same deal. Day 3 was a Saturday, and I was promised a technician. Never showed. I had someone's PERSONAL guarantee, he said. Yeah right. Finally the guy calls me Monday and asks if I am home ... I was like...YES? He said he knocked on our door but...he didn't...

Turns out, it was a problem with our phone jack.
