Chainsaws in the Morning

After finishing work at 6 am this morning, I stayed awake to pack Hubby a lunch, give our cats their meds, try to wake Hubby up 4 more times, and do laundry. Finally, at around 9 am, I was in bed. It was pure, sweet, blissful sleep when suddenly, I was awakened by a hideous screeching mechanical sound. What the...

I looked out the window and saw a man with a chainsaw in one of our trees. I wasn't even expecting him. Hubby had gotten a quote from the man and we decided just yesterday that we were going to use someone else. Call me crazy, but waking up to a stranger with the chainsaw is a good indicator that the day is not going to go my way.

Well, at least he wasn't chasing you with a chain saw which could be a really good sign, lol.

I'm sorry for your misfortune, but the thought of a man in your back yard with a chainsaw is just too funny.

Here is hoping you have a better day.

P.s. I like your writing. I'll be back.

Unfortunately, no...he's not good looking. He's about 60 years old and came back this morning. :-S

Oh, you poor thing! Isn't sweet blissful sleep overrated? Or have I lost too much sleep? ;) Hope quiet returns soon... :)

we have neighbors behind us who have dogs tied up (wrong on so many levels) the last time i slept upstairs i opened the window and screamed at top of my lungs ...shut up shut up you $%$#$@@ and there was blissful silence for 10 seconds. Until every dog in the neighborhood joined in. I sleep downstairs now LOL
